Chief Information Security Officer, Microsoft Korea, Korea

Dr. Jong Whoi Shin is CISO(Chief Information Security Officer) at Microsoft Korea and adjunct professor at Graduate School of Information Security in Korea University. 

Dr. Shin is also a delegate of ISO SC27 Korea standardization committee.

Dr. Shin earned his  Ph.D from Computer Science and Engineering in Korea University.

Abstract of Jong Whoi Shin's Talk

Nowadays, cloud service is emerging as the cutting-edge technology all over the world due to its cost-effective benefits. At the same time, however, customers have concerns on security and privacy issues in cloud as high priority which are likely one of main reason reluctant to introduce cloud services not only government organizations but also enterprises. In a way, this session will deal with what the concerns in terms of security & privacy in cloud, then how to mitigate these one based on trusted cloud approach that has been implementing by Microsoft.
